About Us

Jacqueline started Ecru back in 2015. A career in Sales and Marketing behind her, a tiny newborn beside her and a design qualification she wasnt sure how to utilise.

She knew she wanted a more mixed up day and the freedom to let her hair go a little wild [see: Curly]. She was also so sleep deprived she wasn't sure if returning to a corporate environment would be the best for her poor, innocent colleagues.

She put everything she had left in her reserves into the slow-build charmer, Ecru Candles. She has been utlising knowledge and wisdom from her family, friends and anyone that will listen and share.

Today Ecru Candles are a father/daughter team who handpour each candle with care. We aim to provide products to enjoy, and to support local business with quality products to present.

Since we benefited so much from the acquired knowledge of those around us, we are now offering workshops! Bite-sized experiences to give you the knowledge to go forth and start making also, or to simply escape the day-to-day and have some fun.
